1. Introduction
This Stripe Terms Addendum (“Addendum”) supplements and forms part of the Huddle Terms & Conditions. It governs the payment processing, billing, refunds, and dispute resolution for payments made via Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”). By using Huddle and submitting payments, you agree to the terms outlined in this Addendum.
This Addendum applies exclusively to payments processed through Stripe, Inc. For enterprise clients utilizing alternative payment methods, such as checks or Purchase Orders, the terms outlined in the Enterprise Payment Terms section of the Huddle Terms & Conditions will apply.
2. Payment Processing via Stripe
- Third-Party Payment Processor: All payments for Huddle subscriptions are processed securely through Stripe, Inc., an independent third-party service provider.
- Stripe Agreement: Your payment transactions are subject to Stripe’s Services Agreement and Privacy Policy, which govern Stripe’s responsibilities related to payment data and security.
- Role of Cronos: Cronos Consulting Group, Inc. (“Cronos”) does not store, process, or control your payment card information. Payment details are managed solely by Stripe.
3. Billing & Payment Terms
- Authorization: By providing your payment information, you authorize Cronos to charge the specified amount via Stripe for your selected subscription plan or services.
- Recurring Payments: If you opt for a subscription, you authorize automatic recurring billing at the frequency stated in your plan until canceled.
- Failed Payments: If a payment is declined or fails, we may suspend access to Huddle until the outstanding balance is resolved.
4. Refunds & Chargebacks
- Refund Policy: Payments are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or explicitly stated in the Huddle Terms & Conditions.
- Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback without attempting to resolve the issue with us first may result in account suspension. If a chargeback is filed, we reserve the right to collect outstanding balances through alternative means.
- Disputed Charges: Contact support@letshuddle.ai to resolve billing disputes before initiating chargebacks.
5. Taxes
- Responsibility: You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or fees associated with your purchase, unless otherwise specified.
- Tax Calculation: Stripe may collect taxes based on your billing address, in accordance with local laws.
6. Data Security & Privacy
- Data Protection: Stripe handles all payment-related data in accordance with its own security policies, including compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
- Limited Data Access: Cronos does not access or store your full payment details. We only receive confirmation of payment status, transaction IDs, and partial data necessary for subscription management.
7. Limitation of Liability
- Stripe’s Liability: Cronos is not liable for any issues arising from Stripe’s processing services, including delays, errors, security breaches, or service outages related to payment processing.
- Indirect Damages: Under no circumstances will Cronos be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to payment transactions.
8. Dispute Resolution
- Internal Resolution First: For any payment-related disputes, you must first contact support@letshuddle.ai to attempt to resolve the issue.
- Escalation: If unresolved, disputes may be subject to arbitration as outlined in the Huddle Terms & Conditions.
9. Amendments
Cronos reserves the right to modify this Addendum at any time. Changes will become effective upon posting, and continued use of Huddle after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Addendum.
